So, this yarn is a chunkier worsted weight (compared to our Premium Recycled Silk which is worsted). It also comes in a whole array of colors. Each ball is TOTALLY different! This is a great option for this bag/free pattern because of the colors adding a nice bit of variety and coolness to the plastic bags.

Also, just like the name says, it's a little less refined than our premium recycled silk but it's a nice way to get started in the wild and creative world of our silks.

This slightly unrefined (it's second quality to our premium yarn) recycled silk yarn is a great place to start. Structurally, it's a nice blend of silk with sometimes small hints of viscose which make it more sturdy/stiff/rustic compared to the premium variety of this yarn.

Each skein is 200g has 170 yards. Because this is a second quality use this with projects where gauge isn't a life and death situation (not good for sweaters, good for dog jackets).
